Ingredients
- Banana – 2 to 3 medium size (ripe)
- Wheat flour or all purpose flour – 1½ cup
- Sugar – 2-3 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp(as required)
- Oil to fry
Method
- Grind banana with sugar and salt to a smooth paste without water
- Mix wheat or all purpose flour to this paste and knead to a thick dough(similar to chapatti/puri)
- Keep this dough for 6-7 hours
If you want to prepare it quickly, you can add a pinch of baking soda while making the dough. So you have to just keep the dough for about half an hour
- Make small balls and roll them to puri size
- Heat oil and fry them till they turn golden brown
- Serve them with chutney/saagu/kurma
