Ingredients
- Kharjura/Dates – 7 to 8
- Jaggery– 3 tablespoons
- Milk – 1 cup
- Cashew, almond, cardamom – as required
- Ghee to fry
Method
- Remove the seeds and cook dates in little water till they become soft
- Grind them to smooth paste
- Empty the paste into the pan. Add milk and jaggery to the paste. Heat in a medium flame
- If the mixture is too thick, add milk and boil for some more time
- Add cardamom, fried cashews and almonds. Raisins are not needed
- Serve either hot or cold
