Ingredients
- Chopped vegetables – 1 cups ( bitter gourd or raw mango or pineapple)
- Shredded coconut – 1 cup
- Red Chillies – 3 to 4
- Til / Gingelly – 1 tsp
- Tamarind paste – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Curry leaves – 5 to 6
- Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
- Ghee/oil – 2 tsp
- Jaggery – 1/3 cup
Method
- Cook chopped vegetables with jaggery, tamarind paste and salt till it becomes tender
- Fry gingelly(til) and red chillies with 1 tsp of oil for about a minute
- Add this fried mix to shredded coconut and grind to smooth paste with little water
- Add this paste to the cooked vegetables and mix
- Garnish with fried mustard and curry leaves
