Ingredients
- Shredded Coconut – 3 cups
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Ghee – ½ cup
- Cardamom – ½ tsp
- Water – 1 1/2 cup
Method
- Fry shredded coconut in a pan till it starts changing colour to golden brown
- Take sugar in a separate pan , add water and heat in a low flame
- Keep stirring the sugar syrup till it becomes sticky
- Now add fried coconut to the sugar syrup, add ghee, mix well and heat till it starts separating from bottom of the pan
- Add cardamom and mix
- Spread this mix evenly over a greased plate. Keep it for cooling
- Cut this into required square or diamond shapes
