Ingredients
- All Purpose flour / Maida – 1 cup
- Curd – 1/2 cup
- Ginger – 1/2 tsp grated
- Green Chillies – 2 to 3 chopped
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Curry leaves – 6 to 8
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Pinch of Baking powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep fry
Method
- Mix all the ingredients (1 to 9) making a smooth batter
- If needed add little water, but don’t make it too thin
- Keep this batter aside for 10-15 minutes
- Now heat the oil in a frying vessel in medium flame
- Drop the batter slowly into the oil using spoon to a lemon size balls
- Deep fry them till they turn light brown
- Serve hot with chutney
